Getting the Most Out of Pomegranates

When you bring a pomegranate home from the store, you might find that you have no idea what to do with it. Removing the seeds is fairly easy. Fill a large bowl with cool water. Cut the pomegranate in half, run your hands along the inside of the fruit to break up the pulp and seeds and place each half in the water. Once the seeds drop away from the fruit, dry with a paper towel. You can then use the seeds as a quick snack or as a topping for your favorite salad.
